After 7 years of legendary events, Bonnaroo has morphed into a well-oiled live music machine.

In June, prog-rock powerhouse Umphrey's McGee will release Jimmy Stewart 2007 - an ambitious double-live album comprised of some of the band's most inspired improvisations, sequenced into two seamless 70-minute "mixtapes." Several times each performance Umphrey's McGee delves into the "Jimmy Stewart" creation process. They aim to generate melody-rich, spontaneous compositions, utilizing a Zappa-inspired language of body gestures and hand-signals which allow the band to create structure on-the-fly.

Gathering of the Vibes adds Umphrey's McGee to lineup and announces artists that will be performing on the beach-front solar stage.

Lee Crumpton, founder of the Home Grown Music Network and co-founder of Harmonized Records, won the Grahamy Jammy at this year's The Jammys Awards.

Sound Tribe Sector 9 hits the road this summer in support of a soon to be released studio album "Peaceblaster".

Touring heavyweights STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9) and Umphrey's McGee team up for what promises to be one of the hardest-hitting tours of the summer. This co-bill will feature extended sets by both bands, and will stop in Midwest and east coast cities throughout the month of July.
